Insurance

CDW (COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER) – Damage Insurance

This insurance does not cover damage to the vehicle’s interior, damage to tires and wheels, damage to the underbody, broken and/or lost keys, damage caused by incorrect fuel type, and damage caused intentionally or negligently. All listed damages will be charged in full at the time the vehicle is returned. When the vehicle is returned, its condition will be checked jointly by the client and our employee and compared with the vehicle’s condition at pickup. Any change in the vehicle’s condition, i.e., all new damages, will be recorded in the rental agreement form and signed by both parties.

TP (THEFT PROTECTION) – Theft Insurance

This insurance is not valid if the vehicle was unlocked or the key was left in the steering lock during theft.
In case of theft, the key and documents must be with the client.

PAI (PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE) – Personal Insurance

The driver and occupants of the vehicle are insured against death or injury sustained in a traffic accident during the vehicle rental period.

A police report is mandatory for all types of insurance.
Without a police report, the full amount of damage and/or theft will be charged to the client.

A report must be made even in cases where the client was not present when the vehicle was damaged (e.g., the vehicle was damaged in a parking lot by an unidentified person).

With this insurance, the client has no participation in the damage if they are not responsible for the newly incurred damage, provided there is a police report; without a police report, they bear the damage in full.

Full Coverage with 5% Deductible

If the client is responsible for newly incurred damage with a police report, they are obliged to pay Top Auto Rent a Car 5% of the total damage.
The damage is assessed by an appraiser.
The client’s deposit will be retained until the damage assessment is received.
